Bam Adebayo scored 35 and Klay Thompson hit eight threes as Miami edged Los Angeles at Intuit Dome, sending the Clippers to their seventh straight loss.

Miami had just enough firepower to leave Intuit Dome with a win. The Heat edged the Los Angeles Clippers 117-116 on November 4, 2026, improving to 3-5 behind standout performances from Bam Adebayo, Klay Thompson and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Los Angeles fell to 1-7 with its seventh consecutive defeat.

Adebayo led Miami with 35 points on 14-for-20 shooting, adding 10 rebounds and four assists in 41 minutes. Thompson supplied the perimeter punch, knocking down eight of his 17 three-point attempts on his way to 30 points. He also contributed five rebounds and three assists, and Miami was plus-21 during his 35 minutes—the strongest plus-minus among its listed top performers.

Antetokounmpo delivered 27 points, 14 rebounds and six assists, along with two steals and three blocks. Davion Mitchell paired 11 points with 10 assists and four steals in 43 minutes, giving Miami another double-double despite an 0-for-5 night from beyond the arc.

The Clippers countered with efficient scoring from Darius Garland and Brook Lopez. Garland finished with 26 points and seven assists, shooting 10-for-14 overall and 4-for-6 from three. Lopez added 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting, eight rebounds and two blocks. Rui Hachimura contributed 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, while Derrick Jones Jr. recorded 12 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. Those contributions left Los Angeles close, but still one point short.
