Chicago earned its first win behind Norman Powell's 25 points and a Jalen Smith double-double, while Tyler Herro's 34 couldn't keep Milwaukee from falling to 0-2.

The Chicago Bulls picked up their first victory of the season on October 23, beating the Milwaukee Bucks 132-125 at Fiserv Forum. Norman Powell led Chicago with 25 points as the Bulls moved to 1-1, while Milwaukee dropped to 0-2 despite a 34-point performance from Tyler Herro.

Powell's scoring came on a difficult shooting night: he finished 7-for-20 from the field and 2-for-12 from three-point range in 33 minutes. Caleb Wilson supplied 21 points, six rebounds and two blocks, shooting 7-for-14 overall. Leonard Miller added an efficient 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting in 24 minutes, giving Chicago another productive scoring performance alongside its leading pair.

Jalen Smith delivered a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds, plus three steals. He made six of his 10 field-goal attempts and went 2-for-5 from beyond the arc. His rebounding and defensive contributions complemented the scoring output from Powell, Wilson and Miller.

Herro paced Milwaukee with 12-for-24 shooting, including a 5-for-10 mark from deep, and added five rebounds and four assists. Jaime Jaquez Jr. posted 19 points, 11 rebounds and five assists while shooting 7-for-11. Kyle Kuzma contributed 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists, and Myles Turner recorded 12 points and five blocks. Those efforts weren't enough to prevent a second straight Bucks loss as Chicago left Milwaukee with a win.
