The Philadelphia 76ers kept their unbeaten start intact with a 114-106 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on October 22, 2026, at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Tyrese Maxey led Philadelphia with 32 points as the Sixers improved to 2-0. Cleveland opened its season at 0-1 despite a 32-point, 10-rebound performance from Donovan Mitchell.
Maxey shot 12-for-23 from the field and added six assists and two steals in 42 minutes, finishing with a plus-19 rating. Jaylen Brown contributed 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists on 10-for-20 shooting. LeBron James rounded out Philadelphia’s leading quartet with 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists, while also recording three steals and a block. His double-double matched Mitchell’s in points-and-rebounds categories, though Mitchell carried the heavier scoring load for Cleveland.
Mitchell made 11 of 19 shots, including two of four from beyond the arc, and added three assists, two steals and a block. Evan Mobley posted 18 points and eight rebounds, James Harden finished with 16 points and five assists, and Jarrett Allen supplied 14 points, seven rebounds and two blocks. Those contributions were not enough to prevent an eight-point defeat as Philadelphia extended its winning streak to two.
