Victor Wembanyama delivered 28 points and 10 rebounds as San Antonio overwhelmed Oklahoma City, with Dylan Harper and Stephon Castle providing strong support.
San Antonio delivered an emphatic result at home on May 28, beating Oklahoma City 118-91 behind a commanding performance from Victor Wembanyama. The Spurs’ 27-point victory paired productive scoring from their leading contributors with a difficult shooting night for Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Wembanyama finished with 28 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and three blocks, shooting 10-for-21 from the field and 4-for-9 from beyond the arc. His production gave San Antonio a force at both ends, while Dylan Harper added an efficient 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting. Harper also contributed six rebounds and four assists, hitting two of his three 3-point attempts.
Stephon Castle supplied 17 points, five rebounds and nine assists, giving the Spurs another substantial source of scoring and playmaking. Devin Vassell scored 12 points entirely from beyond the arc, finishing 4-for-7 on 3-pointers while adding two blocks. San Antonio had plenty of support around its leading scorer.
Oklahoma City could not get a comparable night from Gilgeous-Alexander, who scored 15 points on 6-for-18 shooting and missed all five of his 3-point attempts. Jared McCain added 13 points and six assists, while Cason Wallace scored 11, made three of four from deep and collected three steals. Chet Holmgren recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, plus two blocks, but those contributions were not enough to keep the Thunder close on the final scoreboard.
