Karl-Anthony Towns delivered a double-double and Landry Shamet went perfect from deep as New York overwhelmed Cleveland despite Donovan Mitchell’s 31 points.

The New York Knicks delivered an emphatic road result on May 25, beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 130-93. Karl-Anthony Towns anchored New York with 19 points and 14 rebounds, while efficient shooting from Towns and Landry Shamet helped headline a commanding offensive performance. Donovan Mitchell’s 31 points were not enough to keep Cleveland competitive in the final tally.

Towns shot 8-for-11 from the field and made all three of his 3-point attempts, adding three assists, two steals and two blocks. He finished with a plus-25 rating. Shamet supplied 16 points in 18.97 minutes, shooting 5-for-6 overall and a flawless 4-for-4 beyond the arc. His plus-28 rating underscored a highly productive outing.

OG Anunoby contributed 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals for New York. Mikal Bridges added 15 points, three rebounds and five assists despite a difficult shooting night: 4-for-16 from the floor and 1-for-8 from 3-point range. Those contributions gave the Knicks multiple sources of production alongside Towns and Shamet.

Mitchell led Cleveland on 9-for-18 shooting, including 5-for-9 from deep, and collected four rebounds. Evan Mobley added 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists. James Harden finished with 12 points but shot 2-for-8 overall and missed all six of his 3-point attempts. Thomas Bryant scored 10 points in 8.62 minutes, making four of seven shots and two of five from beyond the arc. Cleveland’s individual bright spots could not offset New York’s overwhelming final margin.
