Jalen Brunson led New York with 38 points and six assists, outpacing Donovan Mitchell's 29-point, six-steal effort in Cleveland's road loss.

Jalen Brunson supplied the scoring punch as the New York Knicks defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 115-104 on May 19. Brunson finished with 38 points, five rebounds, six assists and three steals, shooting 15-for-29 from the field. He logged 46.4 minutes and posted a plus-15, giving New York a commanding individual performance despite going 1-for-6 from beyond the arc.

Mikal Bridges delivered an efficient supporting effort, scoring 18 points on 7-for-11 shooting, including 2-for-4 from three. He also contributed five rebounds and two steals. Karl-Anthony Towns paired 13 points with 13 rebounds and five assists, while Josh Hart added 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists. Those contributions complemented Brunson's big scoring night.

Donovan Mitchell paced Cleveland with 29 points on 12-for-23 shooting, knocking down four of his 11 three-point attempts. His impact extended beyond scoring: Mitchell collected six steals, five rebounds, three assists and a block. Even with that production, Cleveland could not match New York's final total.

Evan Mobley recorded 15 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks, but shot 6-for-16 from the floor. James Harden also scored 15 points, finishing 5-for-16 overall and 1-for-8 from three, with four rebounds and three assists. Sam Merrill chipped in 12 points and hit three of eight attempts from deep. Cleveland had several contributors, but Brunson's standout performance and Bridges' efficient scoring helped put the result on New York's side.
